perfection!

A perfect Boston Tea Party Iced Coffee earlier today
Order an iced latte from most coffee shops and you'll get a rather lame watery coffee with a bunch of ice cubes floating in it. That or the Starbucks Frappuccino type thing where there's so much ice you get an instant icepick headache as soon as your lips touch the straw.

If this sounds as if I know what I'm talking about it's because I do! I've tried them all and been rather unimpressed each time. BUT, I am pleased to say there is a champion iced coffee drink out there.

Yep, the idleformat award goes to Bristol's very own Boston Tea Party chain of cafes for their amazing Iced Coffee. Smooth, creamy, with a strong enough taste of coffee, a nice frothy head (but not too much) and, crucially, with a small amount of sugar added to avoid bitterness. We're talking absolute perfection here. If you're passing a branch of BTP (they're all over the west country these days) check one out while the weather's still warm. You won't regret it.
